FAQ
Will my openbrand.io/<id> be taken away?
Free claims are held for 30 days, then auto-released if not paid. Pro/Studio subscribers hold the ID permanently while subscribed, plus a 30-day grace period after a cancellation. If you don't want to subscribe long-term, buy Forever Domain (¥299 one-time) to lock the ID forever.
How is Forever Domain different from Pro?
Forever Domain is a one-time per-project purchase. The ID stays yours forever, even if you never subscribe. It includes watermark removal, video, and 100MB uploads for that project — but does NOT include custom domain, team collaboration, or advanced analytics. Those are subscription-only.
If my subscription expires, do my uploaded videos disappear?
No — your assets stay. After expiry: the watermark returns, large uploads are blocked, and custom domains unbind back to openbrand.io defaults. Existing videos remain visible but you can't upload new ones over 5MB.
Can I upgrade from Forever Domain to Pro?
Yes. Forever Domain is project-level; Pro is account-level. They stack. Subscribing to Pro on top automatically gives your Forever projects custom domain, password protect, etc.
What's the refund policy?
Subscriptions: 7-day no-questions refund. Forever Domain: 24-hour refund window because it locks the ID permanently.
